Jane has spent the last two decades in the army, employed as a Professional Engineer. In her retirement, she studied crafts and design (ceramics) at Sheridan College in Oakville.
For the past year, she have been studying Art History at the Queens University in Kingston and, this fall she will continue in the Master’s Program. Jane believes the reading of liberal arts will broaden her humanistic outlook on the world; it helps to inform her work; and, heightens her appreciation of others’ work.
In September 2006, she returned to Kingston, after spending the summer on the shores of Georgian Bay, to open Anglin Bay Pottery in a synergistic artist community at the National Grocers’ Building Studios.
